This is our base Bamboo shirt dyed with madder. The red dye alizarin is extracted from the root of the madder plant. This pigment was used to dye the shirt manually. This dyeing process dates back to the seventeenth century. Madder has the color orange-red. Vegetable colors are more beautiful; fuller, powerful, more intense. The red color is almost 'fiery' red. The straps are adjustable in length.
